BayWa r.e. promotes Gemma Hamilton to Managing Director of its UK & Ireland business

BayWa r.e. has announced the promotion of Gemma Hamilton as its next Managing Director of the UK and Ireland projects business. Gemma joined BayWa r.e. in 2022 as Head of Strategic Development before becoming Head of Commercial, followed by Head of Origination & Development Strategy where she has led the commercial positioning and long-term growth planning for the UK and Ireland projects business. Gemma has 20 years’ experience leading the development of large-scale renewable pipelines across the UK and Ireland.

Commenting on her appointment as Managing Director, Gemma Hamilton said:
